Ethical Oversight Policy
Ethical Oversight Policy
- Tadabbur Journal maintains strict ethical standards across all stages of the publication process: submission, peer review, publication, and archiving.
- The editorial team receives regular training on research integrity, complaint handling, and ethical conduct.
- The journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines as its primary reference for addressing ethical issues in scholarly work.
- Authors are required to submit a declaration of originality, specify each author's contribution, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
- All submissions are evaluated for compliance with Islamic, academic, and methodological standards, with particular attention to scientific honesty, intellectual property rights, and proper use of scholarly material within the journal's specialized scope.
- Manuscripts addressing sensitive intellectual, theological, or interpretative topics are carefully reviewed to ensure sound argumentation and adherence to scholarly and ethical standards that align with the journal’s mission.
- The principles of fairness and transparency are applied to all parties involved without bias, through an internal and confidential review process.
- If any unethical behavior is suspected (e.g., conflict of interest, fake peer reviews, or fictitious authorship), a formal internal investigation is initiated.
- All complaints and investigations are documented and treated with complete confidentiality, with secure records kept for future reference.
- Reviewers must not exploit or use any manuscript content they review and are required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
- If a confirmed ethical violation is committed by any party (author, editor, or reviewer), the journal may impose corrective actions including warnings, publication bans, or formal notifications to relevant institutions.
