Abstract
Research Subject:
Collecting and studying the points about which scholars of exegetics stated as “Complete Stopping” and its Impact on the Meaning from the beginning of the Holy Quran till the end of Surat Al-Kahf
Research Objectives
- The researcher aims at collecting the verses about which scholars stated as “Complete Stopping” and showing the impact of stopping on the meaning.
- Explaining the exegetics scholars’ sayings about the difference of meaning due to stopping in what stated as “Complete Stopping” and showing the truest saying.
Research Methodology:
I inducted the books of exegetics and extracted the points that scholars stated as “Complete Stopping” and showed the disagreement among their opinion from the beginning of the Holy Quran to the end of Surat Al-Kahf. I also sorted the verses according to the order of the Holy Quran suras and the verses. In addition, I stated what shows stopping and the controversy among scholars of exegetics as well as criticizing their sayings and selected the most appropriate one as I believe based on evidence. I adopted the academic methodology recognized in preparing researches.
Findings
I, thanks to Allah, could collect in this research the positions which scholars of exegetics stated as “Complete Stopping” and its Impact on the Meaning from the beginning of the Holy Quran till the end of Surat Al-Kahf and the controversy among them according to the resulting meaning. However, what is excluded from my research and what I did not mention is more and needs study, analysis, and criticism being deserve an independent study.
