Stylistic Inimitability in the Tafsir of Abu Al Saud “Tafsir of Surat Al-Imran as an Example”

Abstract

This research focuses on studying: (The stylistic inimitability in the Tafsir of Abu Al Saud, Tafsir of Surat Al-Imran as an example), following the analytical, descriptive approach.

It mainly highlights the stylistic inimitability which reflects the great meanings of the Holy Quran.

The research also sheds light on the significance of stylistic approach to explaining the Quranic meanings, as well as revealing the secrets of this miraculous book, given that it stands firm as a great miracle before the new analytical approaches of speech.

The research includes a foreword, an introduction, seven sections, and a conclusion:

The foreword includes presentation to the subject, as well as its objectives, methodology, previous studies, and plan.

The introduction shows the stylistic inimitability of the Holy Quran, and includes presentation of the Tafsir and its author as well as his approach and methodology.

 The sections are as follows:

First: Anastrophe

Second: Definite and Indefinite

Third: Incorporation and Ellipsis

Fourth: Substitution

Fifth: Origin of the Word

Sixth: Repetition

Seventh: Apostrophe

The research sheds light on the significance of the Tafsir of Abu Al Saud, given that it is full of rhetoric styles in the interpretation of the Holy Quran. In addition, it highlights the unique style of the Quran, while indicating that stylism is one of the contemplation approaches of the Quran and proves the inimitability of this sacred Book.

The research recommends studying the Quran in light of the latest developments in linguistics while taking into consideration its specificities and contexts and keeping the heritage contributions in this field.
