Abstract
(d. 1393 AH) - A Collection and Study
In this research, I addressed the interpretive questions raised by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Amin Al-Shanqiti in his exegesis: "Adwa' al-Bayan fi Idah al-Qur'an bil-Qur'an". The introduction was dedicated to explaining the concept of interpretive questions, understanding their origins and reasons for their emergence, their key benefits, and the extent of scholars' attention to them.
The first chapter provided a brief introduction to Al-Shanqiti and his exegesis, "Adwa' al-Bayan". The second chapter explored the questions posed by Al-Shanqiti in terms of their forms, types, and his methodology (may Allah have mercy on him) in presenting and answering them. The third and final chapter focused on studying the interpretive questions discussed by Al-Shanqiti, following an inductive and analytical approach.
The research concluded with several findings, highlighting Al-Shanqiti's (may Allah have mercy on him) great attention to interpretive questions, the significance of their topics, their diversity, and their various forms. It also underscored his skill (may Allah have mercy on him) in presenting and answering these questions, his strong argumentative ability, and his unique methodology based on relying on sources of interpretation, attention to the rules of interpretation, and using engaging and attention-grabbing techniques.
One of the most important recommendations I make to researchers in the field of Quranic studies is to work on preparing a scientific project that compiles the interpretive questions posed by scholars regarding Quranic exegesis and sciences, as found in books of exegesis and Quranic sciences. Additionally, I recommend researchers in other specialties to collect and study the questions posed by Al-Shanqiti related to other sciences outside the scope of this research.
Finally, all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
