Policy on Data Fabrication and Falsification

  • Tadabbur Journal considers data fabrication or falsification a serious breach of publication ethics and academic integrity.
  • Violations include, but are not limited to: inventing non-existent data, manipulating results to fit hypotheses, or omitting data that contradicts the researcher's conclusions.
  • Authors may be requested to submit raw data or processing files if necessary to verify the authenticity of the results.
  • If data manipulation is suspected, the manuscript will be referred to an internal ethical review committee composed of subject matter experts and statistical analysts.
  • The journal will notify the corresponding author and offer an opportunity to respond to the allegations within a period not exceeding two weeks.
  • If fabrication or falsification is confirmed, the manuscript will be immediately rejected, and the author's affiliated institution may be informed.
  • Tadabbur Journal reserves the right to ban the author from submitting future manuscripts if repeated misconduct is established.
  • In cases where falsification is discovered post-publication, the article will be formally retracted, and a retraction notice will be issued, clearly stating the reason.
  • The journal encourages authors to follow full transparency in presenting their findings and supports the use of open data repositories.
  • Tadabbur Journal upholds the culture of "research integrity" and strictly adheres to COPE’s guidelines in addressing any form of data manipulation or scientific misconduct.
