Publication Policy of Tadabbur Journal: Fees, Publication Timeline, and Financial Sustainability

First: Publication Fees
The journal does not impose any fees on authors for peer review, publication, or archiving, except for what is specified in its policies regarding corrections, withdrawals, retractions, and content removal. Additionally, the journal does not charge any fees for providing access to its content on the internet. Full-text articles are made available free of charge under the Creative Commons license, provided proper attribution is given to the author and publisher. Second: Financial Sustainability
To ensure the journal’s financial sustainability, the continuity of its scientific work, and the achievement of high-quality scholarly publishing, the journal relies on the following funding sources:

  • Self-funding by the journal's publisher: Khibrat Taybah Office for Research and Studies.
  • Sales and marketing of printed copies at exhibitions, libraries, and regional and international publishing houses.
  • Strategic and operational partnerships with research centers and institutes.
  • Monthly and annual subscriptions from institutions and individuals.
  • Partnerships with scientific publishing platforms.
  • Commercial advertisements on printed and electronic versions or the journal's website, in accordance with its advertising policy.
  • Collaboration with institutions and research centers to participate in conferences, seminars, and workshops, which serve as a means of sponsorship for the journal during these events.
  • Providing consultancy, programs, and paid training services for academics and researchers in scientific publishing fields in collaboration with the publisher: Khibrat Taybah Office for Research and Studies.

Third: Waiver Policy for Withdrawal and Retraction Fees
The journal reserves the right to waive or exempt fees for withdrawal and retraction as outlined in its policy for those deemed eligible, as follows:

  • Authors from low-income countries or those with low personal income may receive a full waiver (100%).
  • Authors from lower-middle-income countries may receive a waiver of up to 75%.
    To request a fee waiver, authors must send an application to the journal’s official email addressed to the Editor-in-Chief. The request must include the research title, the author's name, and the reason for withdrawal or retraction.

Fourth: Publication Frequency
Tadabbur Journal, published by Khibrat Taybah Office for Research and Studies, issues two editions annually for both its print and electronic versions.

Annual Publication Schedule

  • The first issue is published in January.
  • The second issue is published in July.
  • Preliminary review: 10 days
    Peer review period: 30 to 60 days
    Average publication time: 180 to 360 days
