Abstract

     This is a research entitled (The interpretation corresponding to the first according to Ibn Ashour with some applications from Surat Al-Baqarah) that deals with the benefit of interpretation based on the first, its impact on interpretation, and its need for it, and how Ibn Ashour employed this rule in his interpretation, giving preference to sayings and interpreting verses with them. Objective: This research came to study some of the places of interpretation that agree with the first mentioned by Ibn Ashour in the interpretation of Surat Al-Baqarah in his interpretation, and to explain the statements in it, and to deduce his method in that; To come up with the summary and content of the topic, passing through its results and effects, and to clarify the preference of the statements in it with the interpretation of the Holy Qur'an, and because of the impact that has had on the study of interpretation. Methodology: The researchers adopted the inductive, then descriptive and analytical approaches. And deductive. Results: The researchers in this study concluded that Ibn Ashour paid attention to the first in his interpretation of Surat Al-Baqarah, and that he was inferring the validity of his preference for the interpretation that agreed with the first. Recommendations: Among the recommendations reached by the two researchers is the need for a more comprehensive study of the interpretation of the first, in Ibn Ashour's interpretation, and interpretation in general.
