Report on a Scientific Project Titled: "The Verified Interpretation of the Holy Quran (Al-Tafsir Al-Muharrar) by the Dorar Network Foundation"

Abstract

The need of people for the interpretation of the Noble Quran and their necessity for it surpasses all other needs and is greater than any necessity. This pressing need arises because every religious or worldly perfection must align with the Sharia, and such alignment depends on knowledge of the Book of Allah Almighty. Through understanding Tafsir (Quranic exegesis), a person comes to know the methodology of Allah that He has placed in His Book, and the comfort, tranquility, elevation, blessing, and purity it contains. Likewise, one learns the methodology of Satan, which is any approach that contradicts the methodology of the Quran, and the corruption, loss, distress, and misguidance found in such approaches. Allah says: *“Go down from it, all of you—some of you enemies to others. Then whenever guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray nor suffer. But whoever turns away from My Reminder, for them is a life of hardship, and We will raise them blind on the Day of Resurrection”* [Taha: 123-124].

Therefore, the Ad-Durar As-Saniyya Foundation, in fulfillment of its mission and realization of its vision—embodied in the creation of authenticated and well-documented scientific encyclopedias—has undertaken the establishment of a comprehensive Tafsir encyclopedia to serve the Book of Allah Almighty and facilitate its benefit for all people.
