Abstract
By the grace and guidance of Allah, Tadabbur Journal published its first issue (Muharram 1438 AH / October 2016 CE), presenting a collection of authentic Qur'anic research that integrates scholarly foundations with reflective application (tadabbur), offering specialized readers mature scholarly contributions in the field of Qur'anic sciences and contemplation.
This issue addresses distinguished Qur'anic topics, including: The Inimitability of the Qur'an (I'jaz al-Qur'an) in the Thought of 'Abd al-Hamid ibn Badis (Collection and Study); Rhetorical Interrogation (al-Istifham al-Inkari) in Light of the Noble Qur'an; Divine Cosmic and Social Laws (Sunan) in the Noble Qur'an (Subtleties and Insights); and Surat al-Nasr: Knowledge and Action.
The issue also included scholarly reports on academic theses, projects, and conferences, namely: the dissertation "Contemplation of the Noble Qur'an (Tadabbur al-Qur'an al-Karim): A Foundational Study"; a report on the project "The Qur'an: Knowledge and Action"; and a report on the First International Qur'anic Conference "Employing Qur'anic Studies in Addressing Contemporary Problems." The issue also included research abstracts in English.
The journal adheres to rigorous scholarly publication standards, most notably: that research be original and previously unpublished, fully documented with scholarly references, written in sound academic language, and fall within the scope of tadabbur and Qur'anic studies. All research undergoes double-blind peer review according to clear and transparent mechanisms.
